Boronia Village Fish & Chip Shop

Boronia Village Fish & Chip Shop in Boronia, Melbourne, is a family restaurant, which was established in 1983. Our Award-Winning Fish and Chips, Nashi Burger, Chicken and Chips, Chicken Schnitzel, Steaks, Ribs, and Seafood dishes are available daily from 11 am to 6 pm. They offer takeaway meals from 11 am to 3 pm. It is a family-owned business that was established in 1989.

After years of success, they moved to larger premises in 2005. They quickly became popular due to their fresh and quality fish and chips. Their original menu still features the classic fish and chips but they also do a great range of dishes from salade Nicoise to fish and chips with chips salade Nicoise and fetta.

The owners have a great passion for cooking for the product, and for their customers. The seafood is sourced from the best suppliers and is of the highest quality. They are proud to be a different kind of fish & chip shop; instead of deep fat frying all the fish, they use meticulous attention to detail, using only fresh, locally sourced fish. The chips are hand-cut and have a great crunch to them. They are open for dinner, with a real commitment to local produce.

It is an authentic Aussie fish and chip shop located in Boronia, Melbourne. It has been in operation since 1981 and is fully licensed, and accredited, and is Australia’s first exclusive provider of Flippin’ Chips.

Boronia Village is one of the few remaining original shopping centers in Melbourne and sits next to the iconic old Metro Theatre where The Bachelor television show was shot. This gorgeous shopping center is home to 2 shops: a 100-year-old deli and a fish & chip shop, and I finally had the chance to visit both of the shops during a trip back to Melbourne last month.
